An upstream approach to cement decarbonization
CURA Joins the Creative Destruction Lab Paris Climate Stream
CURA is proud to announce its participation in the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) Paris – Climate Stream, a globally recognized program that helps science- and technology-based startups scale their impact through mentorship, partnerships, and investor connections.
The CDL program pairs high-potential ventures with experienced entrepreneurs, scientists, economists, and investors who provide focused, objective-based guidance over nine months. The CDL Climate stream specifically supports companies tackling one of the world’s most pressing challenges: climate change.
The CURA team attended the first session on October 7, 2025, hosted at the historic Le Marois Hotel in Paris, France. CURA’s participation in the Paris stream reflects both the company’s strong connections to the European cement industry and the unparalleled network of world-class mentors available through the program.

During the first session, CURA presented its transformative approach to decarbonizing cement production by enabling producers to use existing feedstocks while producing Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) with up to 85% less CO₂. The feedback and strategic insights from CDL mentors and peers have already proven invaluable in refining our commercialization and partnership strategies.
CURA successfully advanced through the first session and has already achieved many of the initial objectives set for completion before Session 2 in December 2025.
As we continue through the CDL journey, we look forward to building meaningful collaborations, accelerating impact, and contributing to a more sustainable global construction industry.
